A Thai translation of 'Two Concepts of Liberty' by Sam Nak Nisit Samyan Publishing, of Chulalongkorn University

Last month a Thai translation of Berlin's 1958 essay 'Two Concepts of Liberty' was published in Thailand.

  • The essay is published by Sam Nak Nisit Samyan Publishing, the independent Thai publisher founded and run by students at Chulalongkorn University, in Bangkok.
  • It has been translated by the political science undergraduates Netiwit Chotiphatphaisal and Chayanggoon Thamma-Un.
  • It has been edited by Jilawan Boonkerd.
  • In his foreword, Soraj Hongladarom, Professor of Philosophy at Chulalongkorn, notes that this is perhaps the first translation of the work into Thai.
